Long before ELIME Technology LLC became a trusted name in design, technology, and managed support, Eric J. Schrader was a small-town kid from Benkelman, Nebraska, with a deep curiosity for how things worked — especially when creativity and technology came together.

While many high school students were focused on typical teenage life, Eric was hand-coding websites in Microsoft FrontPage and later Dreamweaver, fascinated by the idea that something built in a small town could be seen by people around the world. What started as curiosity quickly became a calling.

One of Eric’s earliest projects was a Lucille Ball fan website he built just for fun in the early 2000s. When that site began attracting attention online, it sparked a realization: design and technology could do more than look good — they could connect people, tell stories, and create real opportunities.

By his junior year of high school, a business-class assignment grew into his first company, Sites By E Web Design. His earliest clients included the Benkelman Area Chamber of Commerce, Doubletree Realty, and Wireless iNet — organizations that trusted a young designer with the professionalism, creativity, and drive to deliver. During his senior year, Eric also placed 4th in a statewide FBLA web design competition, further confirming that his passion had real potential.

That early foundation shaped the way Eric still approaches his work today: with curiosity, care, creativity, and a commitment to doing things right.

From Creative Design to Complete Technology Solutions

In 2007, during a late-night dorm-room conversation, the name ELIME Design Studio was born. Under that brand, Eric spent the next decade and a half helping small businesses, organizations, and agencies build stronger digital identities through web design, graphic design, branding, and ongoing support.

Along the way, Eric’s professional experience continued to shape his creative perspective. During his time as an Assistant Manager with American Eagle Outfitters in Casper, Wyoming, he became even more inspired by visual merchandising, marketing campaigns, brand presentation, and the power of cohesive design. That experience reinforced something he already believed: strong visuals matter, but the best brands are built on consistency, trust, and meaningful customer experiences.

Over time, Eric saw a major shift in what businesses needed. A professional website was no longer enough. Organizations needed secure systems, reliable support, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, backups, software guidance, and a long-term technology partner they could count on.

That realization led to the evolution of ELIME.

In September 2025, ELIME officially became ELIME Technology LLC — a modern hybrid agency built around both creative design and dependable technology. The mission became bigger, clearer, and more focused: help businesses look professional, operate securely, and move forward with confidence.

Eric brings over 20 years of experience in web design, graphic design, technology support, Microsoft 365, SaaS administration, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, and business technology consulting. His work combines creative thinking with practical problem-solving, helping clients not only improve how they look online but also how they operate behind the scenes.

Today, ELIME Technology provides a wide range of forward-thinking services, including remote IT support, cybersecurity solutions, disaster recovery and backups, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace support, software procurement, WordPress development, website hosting, and ongoing creative design.

But for Eric, the work has never been just about websites, systems, or software. It has always been about people.

In addition to growing ELIME Technology, Eric continues to serve full-time as an Application Specialist at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Castle Rock, Colorado. In that role, he has applied his design and technology experience to public-facing websites, recruiting platforms, SharePoint and Power Platform applications, internal communication tools, wellness resources, and other solutions that support agency operations and community service.

That experience has strengthened Eric’s ability to build solutions that are not only polished and professional but also practical, reliable, and built for real-world use.

His work across small businesses, government, public safety, and community-focused organizations gives him a unique perspective. He understands that every organization has different needs, pressures, and goals — and that the best solutions are those that meet people where they are.
